How much time is usually used to carry out an audit?

The time used to carry out an audit depends mainly on the complexity, characteristics / type of company and volume of operations. The audits must meet quality standards set by ICAC, which place, based on ICAC's own internal quality control criteria, a minimum number of working hours of around 100 hours. The SME audit is usually between 100 - 120 hours, spread over 2-3 weeks. This period may vary depending on the needs and size of your company.

During the audit, will the Finance Department collapse?

NOT. Thanks to the fact that we have more than 14 years of experience working within the scope of the financial department of a multinational company, we know perfectly how to plan and execute the work so that, by preparing an early collaboration plan, we can organize an efficient audit work, that makes the time of everyone profitable, both yours as audited, as ours as auditors. Our goal is not only to organize time and work in such a way that the auditor is not a nuisance for the personnel of the financial department, but that this principle is maintained in recurring audits and that the inconveniences derived from audit teams rotations are not suffered at any time of work.

And if I need a different special job, more reduced or more Ad-hoc to my needs, can we do it?

Of course and what is more, we invite you to review our Offering and more specifically the subsection of Other Audits, where you can see an explanation of what are the Audits of Agreed Procedures or Limited Reviews. How much does an Audit of Annual Accounts cost?

Article 29.1 of the LAC establishes the obligation of the principal auditors responsible for dedicating "sufficient time to the assigned audit work" and of having "sufficient resources, as well as staff with the necessary competence and capacity to perform their duties appropriately". The fees of our auditors will vary depending on the type of work as well as the estimate of time and resources by professional category necessary to carry out such assignment. For example, in an audit of Annual Accounts, regardless of whether it is voluntary or mandatory, the fees will be the result of the number of hours, which will depend on the type and complexity of the company, for the cost per hour, which will be calculated based on the audit team designated for the job. Contact us and we will adjust your budget to the characteristics of your company.

What do we need to be able to make an offer?

Initially, we can prepare your offer if you send us the latest Annual Accounts deposited for the previous year and intermediate Financial Statements for the current year on which to carry out the audit. With this basis and some additional clarifications we can prepare your offer.

What is that other information necessary to prepare an offer?

For example, questions such as whether you are part of an international group and issue reporting to your parent company and also need us to express an opinion on such reporting; or for example if you have several logistics centers / warehouses that require complex planning of simultaneous physical inventory tests; or if you have product processing and manufacturing plants outside national territory, ... For all this, a talk is usually required to learn about the peculiarities of your company as something necessary for the elaboration of a quote adjusted to your company. Contact Us.
